The Wheelhouse is a comfortable holiday home of great character that was converted from stable buildings. It is situated at Rowden Court which is just outside the beautiful creek-side village of Noss Mayo in South Devon.
The main living area of the Wheelhouse is open-plan and it retains the roof timbers and several other interesting features of the original building. It has a well-equipped kitchen with a range-style cooker, fridge-freezer and dishwasher.
The comfortable living area has space for eating and relaxing and this has a TV/DVD player, DAB radio/CD player, a telephone (mobile reception is unreliable) and broadband internet access.
Stairs from the living area lead up to a spacious mezzanine floor that comprises a double bedroom with its own en suite facilities.
The remainder of the downstairs space is taken up by a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and the main bathroom. The layout of the ground floor of The Wheelhouse means that is is easily accessible by people with mobility problems or by wheelchair users.
A stable door from the living area leads straight into a sheltered courtyard that is perfect for relaxing in the sun or for eating al fresco.
The Wheelhouse is strictly non-smoking.
